HOORAY for him! ❤ Pics in comments

Cole Prochaska “weighed as much as three men” just four years ago. The 41-year-old man proudly declared that he is now the size of “one person” after walking his way to a significant weight loss after exchanging his 5,000-calorie-per-day diet for a pair of sneakers.

Cole Prochaska of Florida hit the scales at more than 585 pounds in 2021, the greatest weight the device could register, but he had no idea how much he weighed.

The 41-year-old man explains that he has been overweight since he was six years old and has led a sedentary lifestyle that includes excessive eating.

His “overeating” included consuming a 12-pack of drink cans and many bags of chips in a single day, according to Today. Additionally, he would “easy” consume a whole pizza or five cheeseburgers when he went out for fast food.

He calculated that his daily caloric intake was roughly 5,000.

According to Prochaska, “I felt pretty bad.” I would always pretend to be joyful because that’s what many large people do. However, I was a somewhat alone individual. You don’t want to go anyplace because you don’t want to worry about what you’re going to wear, about having to walk a long distance, or about fitting into the chairs.

He was also unable to exercise because of his dyspnea.

Prochaska eventually recognized it was time to make some changes as his seven-year partnership came to an end.

“I realized she no longer respected me because I was just a big person who did nothing and wasn’t moving in the direction I needed to go in life,” Prochaska says.

“I was attempting to keep the relationship intact. Although I saved myself, I didn’t save the relationship.

In detail

He literally started his adventure with a single, easy step. He could barely handle a few blocks at first, but he promised himself to keep going. He pushed himself a bit more every day, and before he realized it, those quick walks had become a daily ritual that kept him inspired.

“I am responsible for myself! In a tweet on not canceling a walk because of bad weather, he states, “It’s the only way to take control of your life.”

He walks at least 10,000 steps a day, no matter what.

Walking, however, was only the beginning. He totally changed his diet since he was determined to provide his body the proper nourishment. To keep on track, he stopped eating chips, munchies, and sweets; he started tracking calories; and he switched from sugary drinks to water. He concentrated on eating a high-protein diet that provided him with energy and aided in muscle growth rather than empty carbohydrates.

Then he moved up with gym routines, saying, “It was just me making up my mind that this is it, it’s going to be a life change.” “I feel fantastic.”

“I’m still trapped.”

Prochaska acknowledged that even after losing over 360 pounds by 2023, he still felt embarrassed to post pictures of his new body.

“Three to one.” I used to weigh as much as three men, but today I only weigh one.Sharing a shirtless photo is really challenging, but I’ve made great progress! Prochaska says on the GoFundMe page set up to finance his expensive skin removal procedures in California, “I know it is hard for some of you to look at.”

“Although I have achieved my weight goal, my life is not yet complete and won’t be until I can shed this extra skin. To hide the flab, I had to tuck additional flesh in my pants while still dressing loosely.I’ve always stayed away from pool parties and never wandered bare-chested on a beach. I’m still confined. Because of this extra skin,” he says.

Prochaska, who is self-conscious, understood he had to share his entire journey with his admirers, even if it meant sharing pictures of his sagging skin on the crowdfunding page, which has raised $81,226 of his $100,000 target so far.

“Inspiring” reduction in weight

The internet is ablaze with admiration for the man, who aims to inspire others with their aspirations, as they celebrate his incredible transformation and the perseverance it took to get there.

“Very inspirational! I appreciate the kind of encouragement you provide and wish you luck on your quest. “I pray that you recover safely,” a kind donor writes.

Another internet user says, “Cole, you’re a huge influence to many people. I respect the tremendous amount of commitment and unwavering determination you used to get here and continue. I’m excited to watch you achieve your objective here.

“Cole, the weight loss is awesome,” says another. The weight of all that skin is unknown to me.But there must be a lot. I hope this little amount helps you reach your goal because if you lose it, your knees will love you even more!

“Continue walking.”

Although he hasn’t undergone the operation yet, according to Prochaska’s social media, he did board an aircraft for the first time ever and travel to California to consult with a plastic surgeon about the skin removal procedure. He anticipates having his first surgery in “three to six months.”

“Continue walking, keep moving… You’re capable. I am a living example. “Let’s go,” he tweets from California, where he is walking the streets and chatting with his followers.

In case you were wondering, he maintains that he shed the pounds on his own. “Ozempic may work, just like gastric bypass surgery or any other surgery (don’t hate).” He posted on X in July 2024, “I can assure you that you won’t be as healthy and content as when you just put your head down and grind.”
